Cake Ingredients?

At Heavenly Delights we make all of our cakes and pastries to order. That means we’re baking them when you order them – no frozen products here! We only use fresh ingredients, including real butter, milk, flour, sugar and eggs!

How much are tastings, and what do they entail?

Our tastings are $20.00 and include up to four different flavor cake selections. During the meeting, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations, etc, that may help us come up with something perfect for your event.  The tasting lasts 1 hour and we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your full hour.  If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 48 hours in advance. 

Do you deliver?

We are happy to deliver our cakes and cookies as long as we are available. Local delivery to the Augusta area is free. All other areas a delivery fee will apply. We deliver as far north as Bangor and as far south as Sanford/Wells area. Please contact us for delivery charges. While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk. We do not recommend clients self-transport 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake more than 3 hours and is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our bakery. 

Do You Ship Your Cakes?

We're sorry but we cannot ship our cakes. They are fragile.

Do you make individual cakes, cupcakes and decorated cookies?

Yes we do. We often have brides request these for favors. It is elegant and different from the traditional favors.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We are often booked months in advance, so the sooner you reserve your date the better. Generally weddings are booked between 3-6 months prior to your date. Please contact us to discuss our availability.  Most of our couples book at least 6 months prior to their wedding. We have been known, however, to stay up all night to complete last minute orders.

Do you have a retail store?

Our cake studio is open by appointment only. We do not have a retail store or any pre made cakes for sale. The process of making each custom designed cake from start to finish in time for delivery keeps us extremely busy. So please do not stop by unannounced as we may be out on a delivery.
